I wish you all the best in your new Suburu. To be quite honest with you I would have probably looked at them if there was a Suburu dealer here in Highlands County Florida. Ditto for the VW wagons. And despite 2 Ford dealships in Highlands County, I had to drive 55 miles to Polk County to get my 2018 Ford C-Max! No Ford dealer in Highlands county carried the vehicle. To say the least , the Ford C-Max drives and handles as well or better then our Mercedes C320 wagon. I have yet to test drive a Suburu, how everyone Ian sure you will not be disappointed. It is one of the few Japanese vehicles that appeal to me . I go for a more European flair and the Cmax does not disappoint.

Weikert Ford in Lake Wales Florida is offering me the extended warranty for 1200 dollars for 6 years and 100000 miles. Seems like a good deal to me, one repair can cost over 1000 bucks!

I just purchased a 2018 Ford C-Max. On Fords website, it states to use regular fuel 85 plus. It states that in the owners manual as well and then adds we recommend premium fuel for optimum performance especially in hot weather. So which is Ford Motor Company?

I just recently purchased a 2018 Ford C-Max hybrid. The operators manual recommends premium fuel at 91 octane or higher. Fords website recommends regular of 87 or higher. Which is it?

Purchased a new 2018 Ford C-Max SE with the 201A drivers assist package for 22,400 bucks and zero percent interest rate for 5 years. Out the door with tax and a new tag, 24400 dollars. I am averaging 50 mpg around town in Lake Placid Florida. On the highway I never drive over 65 mph. I usually keep it at 60. There is a new product McGuires Ultimate Fast Finish. It bonds to the clear coat finish creating a barrier between your paint and the elements. You can even use it on the interior including leather, plastic and painted plastic.

Ford is literally giving away left over 3017 Ford C-Max with zero percent financing and cash back! I just purchased a 2018 for 4000 less then the sticker price. If u can afford it go for a new one!

Ford HQ quoted me 3200 dollars for 6 years 60000 miles zero interest for 18 months. An online dealership a little over 1500 and my dealership in Lake Wales Florida 1280 all with a 100 dollar deductible. I am going with mine that's about 425 dollars a year for 4,5 and six. That's reasonable

In order to protect your interior, including both plastic and leather, I recommend McGuires Ultimate Fast Finish. Unlike many products that leave a shiny sticky residue, the Ultimate Fast Finish provides protection with no residue. Simply spray it on a microfiber cloth, and wipe down the interior. Do not use it in cloth seating. It goes on easy and will protect your interior from harmful UV light and dirt. The Ultimate Finish will bond with your painted and unpainted plastics and provide a durable finish.

Good morning everyone! I purchased a 2018 C Max hybrid. Has anyone purchased the premium maintenance plan and if so what was your cost?

Don't waste your money with Premium gas!
Swamp45755 replied to SnitGTS's topic in Hybrid Driving Tips & Tricks
I have a 2018 CMax. I tried both regular and premium fuel. The manual states premium gas is preferred. And true to the manual I get better mileage and performance with premium fuel. The CMax sips fuel so unlike my Mercedes which averages 27 mpg, I am currently averaging 41.3 mpg with 1000 miles on the CMax. I suspect my mileage will improve when I clock more mileage on the CMax. I believe the engineers at Ford know what octane works best. -

I have a 2018 CMax with about 1000 miles. I tried the ecomode, however it then drives like a Prius. Entering a highway can be dangerous here in Florida. I simply chose not to use it. The manual states you should also use premium fuel for the best performance. I tried both regular and premium and the car performs best with premium fuel. If money is an issue I would recommend using 89 octane rather then 87 octane.
