  1. The rear suspension is built similar to many other cars on the road and should have no problem being serviced by a local repair shop. I would check the rear shock mount first. They are made of aluminum and tend to disintegrate over time. I recently had to replace mine on my 2013 Energi after one failed.
  2. Two years ago I had a persistent cylinder misfire code that ended up resulting from coolant in one of the cylinders. A Ford engineer had to come to the dealership to do diagnostics as they couldn't figure out where the coolant was coming from. Their fix was replacing the engine short block. Thankfully it was all covered under warranty.
