Add me to the list. I bought my Cmax the end of October and twice I have gone out in the morning, to go to work, and found it dead. The 12 volt battery was replaced the first time, because it was "defective"-- that's what I was told anyway. The new battery lasted for about 5 weeks before it died. I do not have the patience to wait for Ford to figure this out and am looking for a different car. I bought a new car because I thought it would be reliable. Now I want my old Taurus back. It looks like from what other people have said that there are several different reasons/guesses for why the battery is dying and Ford really doesn't know what is causing the issue. The last time I had my car towed it took all day and several phone calls for the tow truck to arrive; I couldn't wait for the tow truck and caught a ride to work and the Roadside Assistance person didn't tell the tow truck driver where my car was--that it was in my garage.
