Adopted last April (19) by an amazing man who would not give up on me. I was homeless. My mom passed when I was almost 17.  After living on the streets for several years I met someone who changed my life. Today, I' finishing up grad school heading to residency at a Children's Hospital working in Pediatric Burn Unit.      I will never totally come to grips how my life could have turned out if this one person would not give up.
