Good news.... after persistently trying to get the key fob key to turn it finally did and I was able to open up my car! Thanks for all your help! Much appreciated!

Thank you bookemdano. Yes I purchased my car from dealership. It is a push start so I have often wondered why the old school key myself.... Yes both of the fob keys are the same cut. I will try going to the dealership as suggested. Thank you again!

Thank you... But yes, I know this. The keys don't fit/won't go in all the way.

I have a 2014 C-Max energi... My car had to sit for about a month and in that time the battery died. None of the keys, the big one, or the ones located in the main and spare fobs fit into the driver's side handle. Is there a way to pop the hood manually, is the latch accessible, from the front in order to jump the battery? Any other suggestions to help me get into my car are welcome! Thank you
