Those moldings look ok but they wouldn't have saved my door from the ding it got in the body line even with the door handle.

When I use the key fob button, it unlatches the hatch completely and I can grab it anywhere to open it.

I feel your pain. i got a nice (not really) door ding on my drivers door at the mall on black Friday. My fault for being stupid enough to go there on that day. Looking at that ding on my 2 month old car made me sick. I went online and found a paintless dent removal guy and gave it a shot. Took him about 20 minutes and you can't tell it was ever there. Best $80 I ever spent.

The seatbacks on my SE with cloth seats ARE heated as well as the seat cushions.

Anyone can get X-plan if you know a Ford employee. They can give it to anyone. You can order or buy from dealer stock.

No, yet you put those "jabs" on a public C-Max forum and then complain when when someone responds to these comments. If you want only "helpful" responses, then only describe your issues and ask for help. If your gonna make comments such as the ones you did, expect responses on a public forum.

Maybe you should have. I have a NEW iPod Nano plugged into my USB and have never had it not work. I can use SYNC to bring up any song or album or artist with voice commands. I can also search through all my artists and albums on the touch screen which also shows the album art. If your Honda Pilot system was "far superior" it must have been something because I'm totally impressed with what SYNC and Myford Touch does. I can understand some frustration but the "should have bought a Prius" comment is laughable. I'm sure no one has any issues with a Prius.

My iPod is plugged in and left in the console. You can control it from SYNC or the touch screen, no need to touch the iPod.

Exactly what I thought so that's what i got. I prefer light colors as they don't show the dirt as easy. So it was either white, silver or this. The dealer just happened to have this color with the few options I wanted so I pulled the trigger.

How is that confusing? Every car I've bought in the last, I don't how many years, you had to have your foot on the brake to start it. Been doing it for so long it's automatic. I don't even know I'm doing it.

Don't know on the C-max. Haven't really looked into it. If it's anything like the 2006 Fusion I had, then it could be very simple. On the Fusion, all I had to do was buy the lights, switch, and a relay. All the wiring was already in the car. It was plug and play. With any luck, the C-max will be the same.

I purchased a C-Max SE two weeks ago. It has the factory option remote. It is the square non-directional one. Don't know how long it runs as I haven't tried to see how long it will run and the owners manual that came with it doesn't mention anywhere how long it runs or if it can be set. I can tell you that when you start it with the remote, if you open the door after it's started, it will shut off. I thought something was wrong because I've never had a car with a remote start that would shut off when the door was opened. After reading the very brief owners manual, I discovered that this is normal with this starter on vehicles with MyKey. Is it worth it? It is to me when it's 1000 degrees in the shade and it cools down my car for me. On a side note, did you know that you can hold down the unlock button on your remote for a couple of seconds and when you release it, all of your windows will roll down. Kind of a neat feature. You can stop how far they go by hitting the button again.
