  1. Update on the issue where colder air on driver side compared to passenger side... There are a few more temperature sensors especially for dual climate control and they all needed to be cleaned. This was determined and accomplished by the the Ford service as part of the original work order so no additional charge to fix. Ford has done well and I am grateful.
  2. Behind that grill is the Cabin temperature sensor. Using a flashlight and the canned compressed air and getting the head underneath the console one can visualize the sensor with the fan blades exposed. I directed the flow of air to spin the blades clockwise and a puff of dust flew back into the cabin.
  3. After spending $400 to have the TSB done it turned out to be a dust saturated Cabin Air Temperature Sensor located above the knee of the driver. I used canned compressed air and directed the flow into the fan blades of the sensor and witnessed a puff of dust twice come out the sensor. Funny that the malfunctioning of the cooling system from this sensor coincided with the return of the car from the autobody shop.
  4. Solution is most likely to remove the built up dust in the Cabin Air Temperature Sensor! After spending $400 at the Ford dealer to do the TSB (which I had done already other than the Freon collection and recharge) I found that the Cabin Temperature Sensor had accumulated dust. Using canned air I directed the flow into the fan blades of the sensor and a large cloud of dust puffed out twice! Now the cold air continues as expected. Also do remember to change the cabin filter. Mine was quite disgusting. Good luck. Updated 6/10/21- The issue where the driver side air was colder than the passenger side was determined by the Ford service department to be due to dirty temperature sensors. There are more temperature sensors than I was aware of that needed to be cleaned. Problem solved by Ford dealer service department. I have always had 99% positive results from using the Ford Service where other service providers 50% at best.
