I ordered mine on February 4th. No VIN to date. Dealer had ordered one for the lot which was probably their allotment for March. -

I currently own a 2010 Prius and did 600 miles on one fill. 53.5 average for one tank fill. Perfect weather, perfect routs etc..... -

My father in law just had backing sensors added to his C-Max by the dealer. They are black, while his car is ice storm. -
headlight mod?

I would think that you could contact the service department of any Ford dealership and they should be able to assist you. -

I don't have the car yet. Ordered on February 4th. The dealer included this as a dealer installed opton and is part of the deal along with the exterior protection package. -

Yes. the US Ford dealers can take care of this for around $80. -

Day light running lights are available as a factory ordered item on fleet purchases only. For a small fee, the dealer will make this install as well. I would be interested to know if there is any difference. It is a nice safety feature, but wonder how much power it uses. -
My father-in-laws SE with less than 100 miles 12v dead.

Prius driver here. I have a C-max Energi on order. During cold weather, I am getting 45 mpg. My best is 54 mpg, during a perfect week of weather and over 20,000 miles, my average is 49 mpg. The engine has to run more as more heat is needed in the vehicle. Windshield wipers and headlights run more and so does the fan for the defroster. I will be interested to see how this effects the Energi. Should be wamer weather and I will no longer be driving in the dark by the time it arrives. I expect to preheat and cool at home and at work while plugged in. Most of my drive to work and home is on a state highway with a speed limit of 55. If you dont drive 65 though, everyone passes you and gives you a one finger salute. If I only drove in town, I would have a much better average.

I was joking. I usually buy the basic car without any of the extras and not only ordered the top package, but also splurged on the sunroof and color. I ordered Blue Candy and Platinum White was my second choice. If you wanted white, Platinum White is really nice and a super choice. You should not regret it one bit. You should regret not ordering the dorkey sunroof though....... ;) -

I ordered the dorkey moon roof. I am 6'3" and 280 pounds. I know how to park. Dorkey? Paying extra for a different shade of white? Dorkey? Looks like the pot calling the kettle black to me. -

Father in law's C-max SE that he bought last weekend has dead battery syndrom this morning. I am having second thoughts. LOL -
I have had a C-Max Energi on order since the first of February. Last weekend my father-in-law purchased an SE model. Today he called to let me know that his battery is dead. He is not happy and I am wondering if I made the right decision.

I have been a student of this car since last fall and have searched the internet for information. I test drove a C-Max Hydrid in September 2012 and decided that the Energi would be for me. When I started the test drive, I noticed that the MPG was 34, when I had completed the 6 mile test drive, the average MPG was 44. I figured that part of the problem with the MPG on the vehicle I was driving was either weather related or people not knowing how to drive a hybrid. I have owned a 2010 Prius since June 2010 and know what it takes to get the most out of the vehicle. My best MPG with the Prius is 54 and the average since purchase is 49. Current MPG is 45 due to the extreme cold weather. I drive on a state highway to work around 8 miles one way. I have a fast charge station at work and figure that I will charge at work during the week and at home on weekends. I will use very little gas. -

New buyers think carefully about what model you order
Mr. Green Jeans replied to Laurel's topic in Buying, Order and Leasing
I thought that the package that I ordered would have cruise control that would adjust the speed downward when behind a slower vehicle, like the Prius offers. Just found that it is for parking use only. Would not have ordered this way if I had known. -
