I find it curious that they elevated this particular TSB to a FSA, and not others. The TSB for the 4.2 screen is old and it seems it did not solve many of the 12 volt problems.

I am glad they are still working on it. I had the TSB done on my C-Max but it didn't help. I moved to a Fusion Energi after turning in the C-Max. My parents have a C-Max and have had no difficulties with it.

Hey Carpe, First off thanks again for the image, it works great in my car! I wonder if I could ask another favor, I have seat warmer buttons in the place were driver passenger text is. Could you recreate that same logo minus the text. I would really appreciate it if you could do this, then my sync would be perfect, and I wouldn't need clippee's help!

Anybody have any idea what I did to cause me to NOT be able to Quote people, paste or use the top tool bar, bottom one works???

 

I have this problem on the other cmax forum BUT NOT on any other forums, motorcycle, RV, etc.

So like most things Matt, you take things to the limit (hypermiling, aeromodding, etc.) So glad there are folks willing to take things to the cutting edge!

I suspect that this is an inhouse build for ford. They have been at it for a few years now. As far as the Maps it is my understanding that they are provided by Navteq. If we ever want to upgrade our maps it will be through them. Not sure on either of these but it is my understanding FWIW.

There is the one on the left side of drivers foot well with a covering door. The other is under the steering column.

Dang I just bought a clipper creek charger for the NRG but OTOH our hybrid will now be the highway mule so I've been wanting to try something like this.   Thinking......

If I still had my c-max I would definitely would be interested in them.

It almost seems like FMC has been getting feedback from the consumers and they didn't have a unified answer. This seems to be a reasonable explanation of Range. I know that If i drive at night my miles will be lower because I am using headlight. Still I get nearly 24 miles EV on my way home.

Ford will not update to navigation after the factory. You can get a third party solution at the following site http://gm-navigation.com/ford-navigations/mytouch-gps-navigation-system.html

It is really pricey but if you want integrated nav this is the only solution that I am aware of.
