Liz M and all: If you have your Order Number and Dealer Number or you have your VIN (as well as a minimum of 10 posts on the Board) you can get vehicle tracking information here: http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/forum/80-vehicle-locator-by-ford-employees/ This service is provided by a wonderful Ford employee who takes time from his day to provide information to us. Make sure that you read the rules in the first post for the thread and follow them precisely! My car was ordered around the same time as yours, I suspect that the VIN and an estimated build date have been set. You just need the order info to do the query. Enjoy!

Laurel: Great Post! One major item to note is that the sunroof does not open! It is a long, beautiful piece of plastic, It has a great power shade that opens and closes to block the sun. However, the roof itself is fixed in place and does not open. If you want the Sun beaming down on your head, pay $1200 for the roof. If you want the wind blowing through your hair, save the money and turn up the fan on the ventillation system! :) ;) :)

Laurel: Thanks!.... I put in my VIN and the sticker isn't posted yet. As I understand it, sometimes it takes a few days after the VIN is issued for it to show up online. I'll look forward to your posts with updates!!

Laurel: It looks like production of yours is about 9 days ahead of mine. It will be interesting to see how transport/delivery time matches as yours is going North and mine is going South. Anyone else want to join the tracking thread???

I looked hard at the Energi. Howevder, I don't yet have a charging station at work and the cargo room was just too small for me. C-Max Hybrid is now on order.

Can't you hear them lock?

I've had a sunroof on my last 5 or 6 cars. I love the fresh air. Here in TX it is great to vent the heat on 100 degree+ days! I looked at the sunroof on the C-Max. It is very large and has a neat motorized shade. However, since it doesn't move, it is worthless to me. It will only allow more heat into the car. Worse yet, it is $1200. I'm sure that the sealed model is to increase mileage. However, It is way too expensive and way too non-functional for me. I didn't order it with my C-Max.

I thought that it would be helpful to track the time from ordering your C-Max to actual delivery. If your dealer has ordered a new C-Max for you (not Dealer Trade or Inventory) please post here.
