    I should have come here first. I took Coolmax to my dealer for an oil change. They pointed out the rusted rotors and sold me a 600 dollar brake job. Looking on here, I find out I did not need the brakes but just needed to brake in neutral going down a hill. I'm wondering if anything could be done to recoup some of the money, or just use it as learning experience? Thanks for the forum and will check it if anything strange occurs to Coolmax again.

    Same trip to work. The difference is it is cold!!!

    I went from 56 mpg in the summer to 33 mpg in this 17 degree weather we are having In Michigan. Rotten weather. Did you ever make the trip to the Glass House in Dearborn?

    Suburban Ford of Waterford did mine. No fingers left on headliner. I was a dealer mechanic back in the day and believe me, I caught hell for fingers.

    46.8 with 4200 miles. Updates done at 3500 miles

    45.6 mpg with 3900 miles. Just the opposite in Michigan. When the heat leaves us, it will d r o p .

    Thanks PT for the info on whether it started when ran out of gas. I'm going to try for a 700 tank this time before winter sits in on us Youppers.

    Hi Jus, Not a seven hundred miler but closer. Chickened out again. Just had the update for the mileage and when I filled up it said 735 to empty. So I might brave it this time!!! I have a question for any one who has ran out of gas. Is it hard to start back up once out of gas or does it run on ev mode or what happens once you put gas back in? I'm thinking of taking a spare gallon or two with me next time to try for 700 mile club. Thanks anyone who has input on this.

    Done on mine too. I noticed the acceleration is a tiny bit sluggish. Not bad though. The EV+ has to find itself again. Coolmax went 65 mph in ev today. Used to be 62. I did not go past 65 . Not on a freeway yet.
