  1. My wife and I both have CMAX's and she never drove much before she retired as her job was about a mile from the house. Now I pretty much drive her everywhere and her car sits in the driveway sometimes for weeks especially as a result of the pandemic. My car does most of the driving and even then I drive probably at most 5000 miles a year. So yea this would piss me off. They need a way to scale in miles driven for BEVs and PHEVs and leave hybrids alone.
  2. Rav4 is a bit of a conundrum for me. I appreciate all the options but I absolutely hate Toyota styling with all the sharp lines. Mirai, Prius, and Rav4 just turn me off. I want to like the FEH/FEHP but as has been mentioned the insides look cheap. So as a result I am keeping my eye on the BEV vehicles. A lot of things are coming out over the next couple of years. I am hoping battery prices come down. My CMAX is doing fine so I can wait for now.
  3. Will the Escapes being released now be upgraded to support wireless charging and... wireless carplay? Or will you have to buy a 2021 model to get that stuff.
  4. Except it is a butt ugly car with a terrible sloping hatch.
  5. Well he wouldn’t commit to whether it’s a worthy competitor to the RAV4 or the CRV. OMG no wireless charging that is a real downer if not a potential deal breaker. Yea I know I could probably get a wireless charging pad but seriously.
  6. if only he would build something that looks like an CUV with a full vertical hatch and not another something that looks like a sedan.
  7. It also sounds like Sync 4 will not be available till the 2021 models. I really wish Mazda CX5 came in a hybrid. There is no way I would pay for a Lincoln Corsair given their crazy pricing.
  8. honestly can't remember the last time I had a flat. Has to be at least 30 years. Probably more.
  9. I thought about jumping to the escape but the interior paneling is kind of wonky and I hear on the next year model they will have sync4 which supports wireless data stuff. If Mazda CX5 had a hybrid model I might jump as well.
  10. I am still waiting for complete specs specifically turning radius.
  11. I am assuming there is some hardware at the wheels that is not needed on non hybrid cars.
  12. Thanks for the first clue. I am hoping it is better than the CMAX and that the energy recovering braking of the hybrid does not penalize the turning radius.
  13. I have been anxiously waiting to hear some test drive tell me what the turning radius is. I am pretty disappointed on the CMAX value relative to its size.
