SSM 44699 - 2014 Escape / 2014 Focus / 2013-2014 C-MAX- Illumination Dimmer Setting Reverts Back To BrightSome 2014 Escape vehicles built on or before 12/01/2013, 2014 Focus vehicles built on or before 12/10/2013 and 2013-2014 C-MAX vehicles built on or before 11/27/2013 may exhibit the illumination dimmer setting reverting back to bright after the vehicle sits long enough to allow the body control module (BCM) to go intodeep sleep mode. If a vehicle comes in for this issue, reprogram the Body Control module (BCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 92.01 or higher. Useapplicable 12651D labor operations in section 10 of the SLTS manual and use causal part 14A068. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com
