  2. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I decided to edit this to say I don't recommend this because of failing Trans problems and heating could make the Trans run a little hotter. Maybe 5*F hotter, not much, but no reason to make it worse. ;) XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Well I went the next step to improving short trip mileage by installing Transmission Heater Pad, a Wolverine Model 9 Pan Heater, 125Watts/120vac. I needed to file down ridges some on the bottom of Trans to make it easier for Heating Pad to stick to Trans. I plugged in Block, Oil Pan and Trans Heater pads for over two hours this morning getting TFT145*F, WT135*F and IT95*F with outside temp in the garage at 60*F . With all Grill Covers on temps dropped about 10*F for the first minute with outside temps 40*F and 2.4mi. trip, TFT145*F, WT182*F and IT64*F when I got to work. For those with ScanGaugeII here are the Codes you need to add to get Transmission Fluid Temp:TXD: 07E6221E1C RXF: 0462051E061C RXD: 3010 MTH: 00900320020 NAM: TFT :) Paul
