Tom
I had been getting mileage in the mid to high 30s and now am getting low to mid 40s. No change in driving pattern to explain the difference. Anyone else having a similar experience?
takingittothemax
How long have you had your car? Did you get new tires or have the car serviced? ptjones
ptjones
Things that can have some effect are tire pressure, I like 50 psi, gas, I use premium. If you had tires that weren't Michelin and went back to Michelin Energy Savers A/S V93 and also with temps going up, so will your MPG's. Here is a link to all things that can improve MPG's: Paul C-MaxA2 and METROMAN
homestead
Same here, I think it’s the warmer weather. fbov
Tom
I drive around my community mostly. Less than 5,000 miles a year. Still have the original tires except one replacement -- which is the same as originals. My C Max is a 2013. It is serviced by time rather then miles but do it very regularly. takingittothemax
For me, my mileage is at its best in spring and fall when its warm enough to drive around without the heater and cool enough to do without A/C.
