MuellerWest
Just picked up my car and after 1,000 miles still get heavy brake noise and feel after beginning to drive. Anyone else had this problem?
wamba2000
Mueller, I do not have any such noises from brakes etc.Dealer did find bolts holding the right rear caliper were cross-threaded from the factory and replaced them, which got rid of a severe rattle when driving. Good luck

Anyone else had this problem? No noise, but the brakes do seem to have a tendency to grab.
StoBro2
I've noticed some extra noise recently that I think is caused by the rotors rusting. Our weather lately has been especially mild and damp for January, and there's a tendency for all disc brake rotors to get a light coating of surface rust. (Whenever I wash my car I can guarantee the rotors will be rusty before I finish drying it.) I think the fact that I'm using the regenerative brakes a lot more than I'm relying on the discs means that it takes longer for the pads to scrub off the surface rust. After I drive for a couple of miles I don't notice the noise any more. It either goes away, or I just get used to it. I'm not sure which. shaners
I think "grabbing" brakes especially towards the end of the stop is normal. I believe the regen kicks out and the regular brakes kick in.
PWBarrett
Ours do grab a bit when they're wet. Otherwise I hardly notice the transition from regen to brakes.
