andeeca
Is there any interior latch (or some kind of trick) so that the rear hatch can be opened from the inside when the 12 volt battery is dead? Had dead battery and now realizing that I don't think I should keep the battery cables in the back! Just went and checked, I actually can open the little storage area in the back from the inside, but I have to put the seats down and move the full size spare forward first. Good thing I was home at the time. Edited March 22, 2013 by andeeca
oxnard
You have to access through the front door and work your way back when everything is dead. Do you have a spare tire that you tossed in?
andeeca
Yes, keep the huge spare in the back. It actually came in handy when I was out in the country in Clovis so I'll keep carrying it around. Thanks for reply!Wait, when it's dead can you open the rear passenger doors from the inside? I hope so.
oxnard
I'm not sure if it will open or not without the battery. I hope to NEVER have to try it. My C-Max was in the dealers shop for a month and I just got it back on Wednesday with the "fix" done. :headscratch: Marty andeeca
