Mine just arrived 15 minutes ago via Fed-Ex. Came with a letter of explanation. Now they claim 45 city 40 hwy 43 overall. That explains my so-so mileage for my Las Vegas trip last week. Also explains the GREAT mileage I am getting in town.

Is the miles to empty based on lifetime mileage?

I'm sure it says somewhere, but what is "IDS software"? Never mind, I figured it out.. IDS (Integrated Diagnostic Software)

Scheduled for Monday morning for the update and to redo the Sync(it forgot that it should recognize I heart and Slacker Radios.) Also hope to knock out the headliner recall. Service rep says this will be their first updates. But I won't be alone. They have 3 others scheduled that day. I always hope for the best but expect the worst. :doh:

Sounds like the gas will go "bad" (moisture build-up) before you have to fill up the tank! Marty

Dealer did the Ford Sync TSB because it was slow and having trouble locating mobile apps. Now it cannot find ANY of the apps except Pandora. Guess I will be making another trip to the dealer. :doh:

Dealer did the Sync and battery TSB's today. He ordered the part for the headliner recall and he said he would see me next month with the "Big" update.

My car likes 68-69 also. But it is far better when battery is nearly charged.

Dealer billed Ford.

When my car had the battery issue the Ford dealer who worked on it (not the dealer who sold me the car) got me a rental that day. They kept the car for over a month until the TSB care in to fix the issue. They billed the rental to Ford. If they didn't cover the rental I would have been very upset to say the least. I'm leasing my C-max so I guess I can do an extra road trip now. I did a Vegas trip and a trip to Eureka on Ford's dime (except for gas) :rockon:

There is hope. My C-max was at the dealer for a little over a month due to the battery issue. My car got the TSB 12-11-8 (?) change when it was first issued around March 19th. It has been working flawlessly since. When I get a chance I will take the car in to do the other TSB to charge harder. Only issue now is that sometimes Sync doesn't find my "mobile apps" on my phone and I have to reboot the phone. No biggie. Marty

Isn't 13-5-1 basically the same as 12-11-8 or is this the new one that was promised to charge the battery a little harder?

No photo (not really worth it) drove 7.5 mi. got 51.4 mpg. was surprised! Overall this tank getting 44.3 mpg. Lifetime now 40.0 mpg

that is the TSB 12-11-8 ? same mod but better stated. Not for MFT screens. I think mine was one of the first to receive this mod. Haven't had any problems with battery since.

Another child of the 60's but I'm burned out of that era of music. The sound system aboard is pretty good and I use Slacker Radio. I mostly listen to Latin Reggaeton/Hip hop, Salsa, club music, most anything with a strong beat.

That's true, the thread was hijacked. But since I asked the question originally, I haven't had any solid answers anyway. So just go on and pretend like I'm not here. LOL! ;)
