The first other one I saw in Austin was black, but since then the few more I've seen were all white or silver.  I like dark colors but not after it's been sitting in the parking lot a while.

Soon to be one more in Texas. We put the deposit down on our black max last week. 303A, sunroof, and yes remote start to cool it down a bit before we get in(El Paso gets hot). 

 

We are anxiously waiting.

I'm not sure I would recognize a black one coming toward me......too hard to see the front grill work. I still call 'em wrong sometimes.

I test drove a black SE last fall.  Dealer still has it.  ;)   Over the years, we've owned 3 black, 1 green, 2 dark blue and 2 red cars and in the heat of a Texas summer they all get hot.  The little bit of research I've done said darker cars heat up quicker but lighter colors peak within 10-15 degrees of a dark color.  Hot is hot.  Get tinting and use a windshield shade.

Oh, it's getting tint asap after we get it home, unless I can get the dealer to do it(without it taking a week). I drive a metallic red  F150, my wife drives light blue Escape hybrid, they both get very hot. We figured with the remote start with a/c on, then the 4 window roll down with the remote, we will be able to negate the black on black. I really like the look of this car best in black. One more day closer. Have never ordered a car before. :waiting:

I've only recently seen 3 different C-maxs while driving to Toronto on the 401 this past month or so
