AMSDPS
If anyone is looking for a descent rear rack for the C-Max, that doesn't touch the frame of your bike. I tried out the Saris Gran Fondo yesterday and it did a pretty good job. The hardest part was the initial assembly, but in terms of a "trunk" rack, it was far better than those carrying the bike horizontally. The strap placement on the C-Max is pretty easy on top and bottom, the side straps almost need a slightly different angle to them though. If you are looking for the ultimate in security and stability while riding, you still can't beat the tray style hitch rack, but this did in a pinch until my new Kuat rack comes in! AMSDPS
Yeah, it was taken with an iPhone, is that a known issue or something? Let's try this again. Incidentally, my new hitch rack came in today, so this rack is not for sale on the cheap if someone is interested.

I just have a friend that emails pictures from his iPhone and occasionally they are upside down.
AMSDPS
Yeah, I had to go into iPhoto and manually edit that one. I read up on it, and it sounds like if you take the photo with the iPhone vertical (portrait mode) it will be right side up, but in this instance I had the phone on its side and snapped the picture with the volume button. Anyways, let me know if you are interested in this rack, it's only been used a handful of times!
