  1. Newer Focus and Fusion wheels should fit.
  2. I'm would hope they tweaked the suspension a bit to compensate for the extra battery weight.
  3. I agree with noisy and grabby when wet for the first few stops. Had a 2004 F-150 that had severe grooves in the rotors within the first year. Turns out there was a recall/TSB and they replaced all the rotors and pads under warranty. Gonna have to take a look at my brakes on the C-Max now.
  4. fordfan82, The SE I test drive before I bought my SEL had a lever on the side and would raise up and down. Maybe an owner of an SE can chime in and verify.
  5. Make sure you get in touch with Ashley or Rebecca. Sometimes an open case with Ford is the only way to get anything done at the dealership.
  6. Apparently this poster got what they were after. Check the link again.
  7. I thought about it at one time. Didn't do it because of the extra weight of the wheels and tires. IIRC is was almost ten pounds per corner. I would be interested to hear your mileage results when done.
  8. I just discovered the shortcut zalusky mentioned above. I was going to start a post about it, but a search saved me. This post is really just a bump in case you missed it like I did. It's a cool trick. :victory:
  9. The money you lose on the trade will likely pay for all of the gas you will use in the hybrid.(maybe even more) I didn't do the math, but I bet I'm not far off.
  10. They dug through your center console looking for something to take that you wouldn't miss for awhile. This shifted the contents causing the squeak. :detective:
  11. I agree. The pedals are too high. If I do a lot if in town driving it kills my right ankle. Let us know if you find anything out.
  12. After logging in, it doesn't show up for my Dec 2012 SEL. Still have the IPC reprogram to take care of.
  13. I wouldn't consider used unless you get a complete service history. Reliability could be the reason for the trade in.
  14. wab, Looks just like that. Goes higher and lower but does nothing. Do you think it might be locked out in some menu on the center screen?
  15. Sorry, double post.
  16. Has anyone else noticed the instrument dimmer on the left side of the steering wheel does absolutely nothing? I turn it all the way down to all the way up and no change. Maybe I'm missing something?
  17. kc1174, I think I'm going to do this. What brand of spray did you use? I have some, but it really smells and would like to try some different stuff. I'm tired of my car sounding like an old leather saddle.
  18. ptjones, Same here. It's odd that the fan would turn on when backing the car out of the garage three feet to get in the attic. I was worried it would run down my battery so I turned the car off and on and it stopped. I didn't watch it, so it might have turned back on. Who knows? :headscratch:
  19. nfoster, take the money and run. :arrive_alive: Just my opinion
  20. I did a quick web search and it seems to be a well known issue. Some people claim to pull the fuses and reboot the Nav to fix the problem. One person had their GPSM replaced and it returned three months later. (could have just been an expensive reboot) I think this one is right up there with the battery problems. No one knows for sure, not even Ford.
  21. I told them all that stuff and even had a TSB and forum thread printed out. I even asked if Ford could disable the Nav and give me a refund for it.
  22. Just checked and I can't paste either. The toolbar kinda works.
  23. I have this problem often. I have complained about It at least three separate times. I was told at the dealership that it was a known issue with no current fix.
