Im2funny Posted June 1 Report Share Posted June 1 Hello everyone. My 2013 cmax battery won’t hold a charge. It’s very strange that sometimes the hatch won’t open via remote. But if I put key in ignition and car starts then hatch will open. It’s like battery doesn’t have enough charge to open. Once car is running all is good. Sometimes car is completely dead and I have to jump. I’ve checked battery and it says 70% so input on charger. 2 days later dead. Last time I jumped and drove the power assist came on and o didn’t have any power steering. When I got home and shut off car and restarted power steering worked fine. Gremlins??? homestead Posted June 4 Report Share Posted June 4 My daughter's c-max had a dead battery when she accidentally left headlights on one night. She kept jumping the battery and it would only last a couple days. We put a charger on it and charged it to 100% and no issues now for a couple months.
