Jus-A-CMax
It just hit me as I am posting tonight - I have nothing left to complain about my C-Max... :yahoo: :happy feet: My GPS is working 100% :happy feet: My MFT with 3.5.1 has NOT crashed or "Schedule Maintenance" since the update. :happy feet: My liftgate is working with 1 kick. :happy feet: My little panel next to the gas pedal that use to flick off has been replaced and its staying in. :happy feet: No weird noise. ...and the best YET.... :wub2: AWESOME, SUPER, GREAT mileage like I have never seen before. :wub2: What else am I suppose to do now on this forum? Surely, surely there must be something to complain about our CMaxs.. :sing_rain: Pssssss Ford Motor Company & Galpin Ford - well done, you've taken care of the main PAIN POINTS for me. Look forward to the next MFT update :) Edited June 21, 2013 by Jus-A-CMax ScubaDadMiami and salsaguy
C-Maxgo
You can keep complaining about not being able to complain about it. :rant2: I love it too! ScubaDadMiami

Jus-A-CMax
All true, but thus far this car now just totally exceeds my expectations. Yes, I do recognize there are others still have major issues like dead Batts so I do thank my lucky stars. Anyway, as one of the top odo milers with orphoto & Matt, lets see how my car goes as she continues to blaze the miles and MPGs. Adair...the worst weather we get is a sprinkle of shower. ..wooo...I can complain about having to wash Maxine. No wait...that's pleasure
ceemax71
I think I have a net loss of complaints after buying the C-Max. I don't complain about rush hour traffic as much. :)Now my fuel efficiency jumps to over 50 MPG during rush hour rather than dropping below 20 MPG. :yahoo: JAZ, SnitGTS and slampro

Seriously, I am glad to hear that all is running good. I still have a few annoying bugs like the clock, etc but, I expect the 3.5.1 upgrade to fix them! Watcha waiting for the 3.5.1 and the liftgate is a cinch. I still have nothing to complain about...oil change in about 3,500 miles I guess but that ain't no complaint. Liftgate still works with 1 and only 1 kick. Bird still poop on my car after I just washed it this weekend....yeah, there you go. I finally found something to whinge about.... Edited June 25, 2013 by Jus-A-CMax
Generalbeluga
I'm looking forward to having the update installed! Just waiting for my "Baby Gen" to get to 7,500 miles so I can take her in for her first oil change and have the 3.5.1 upgrade done at the same time. I am assuming that Galpin is probably over whelmed with people wanting the update, so I'm waiting for the dust to settle a little. Besides I like giving a new engine a little more break-in time before converting to Mobil 1 Full Synthetic, 5-20.

So you and Jus are............brothers from different mothers? fellow adoptive fathers?..........haven't ever met each other?............I dunno. But cool, nonetheless. I don't know anyone who got a C-MAX from my dealership.
joe
Hate to burst the bubble, but when you get your first flat tire, it will take the shine out of sun shine. Now, understand, I love my C-Max, particular now that the NAV is fixed and the upgrade 3.5.1 work greats. The C-Max is like the Star Ship Enterprise - all that great technology. I can check on the weather or traffic conditions, monitor my energy performance, and sit in a cool cockpit. But when a metal spike punctioned my tire last month, it was like a sneak attach by the Borg.... resistance was futile. Fortunately, Ford's road service towed me within 20 minutes. But not having a spare tire is like not having a transporter or spare shuttle craft.

salsaguy
Jus and Gen's car must be related as they are both getting very good mpg numbers. Galpin should start shipping them out to the places that have those c-maxes that get 35 mpg ;) Edited June 27, 2013 by salsaguy
Generalbeluga
Jus A-CMax and I have brother cars and cruise about the same SF Valley, Ventura County area. They've yet to spot each other on the road but, perhaps some day our cars will meet! ;) I was getting on the east bound 118 at First Street on Monday and pulled in front of a light grey C Max. I gave a light "Hi friend" honk as I passed him on the left heading toward Erringer. Was this anyone of you guys out there?

I asked a similar Q to Matt in my 800 thread. Both our cars have gotten way better than a "normal" engine breakin expectations and "early" adopters.
