mtb9153
Does anybody know if it is possible to play video on the MFT from an external source like an iPad?
salsaguy
probably only using the red white yellow tv's jacks in the arm rest and switching the input accordingly. definitely can't play a DVD while driving the car.

All it succeeds in doing is connecting the audio of my iPad through the cars speakers which is nice but not what I was wanting.
ceemax71
The video input is disabled while the vehicle is moving.Search the owner's manual for "Restricted Features". It is on page 434 of the latest manual.
fotomoto
Umm, watch the iPad instead? :) (just kidding but only slightly) As others have said, all video is disable once moving. There are companies that sell electronic work-arounds (lock picks) for other vehicles in the $100-300 zone. Here is one for Toyota's: http://www.coastaletech.com/APPLICATION%20GUIDE%20REV2.htm

I mainly want it while parked and hanging in the car, I get tired of having to hold or balance my iPad on the steering wheel.
