dweiser
Ok, I was right......part of the update took and part didn't. That explains why my MPGs have been steadily creeping up this tank. I hope they didn't undo that when they redid it today. I've only driven about 10 miles since then, and none on the highway. BUT, the regen miles are gone and EV+ locations gone. I did not have to re SYNC the phone, however.I think you're right Adair. I know enough about computers to make a fool of myself but we want the version 85.05 update, the most recent. I'm pretty sure 85.05 is cumulative in that it has something new (compared to 85.04) but it also has ALL the improvements/updates the engineers had come up with prior to 85.05 which would jive with you noticing some improvements but not all. Since most people can trick themselves fairly easily about almost anything (like expected results) and since we have (as of right now) no way of knowing what version of the software our vehicles are running, we have to ask what is real and what is merely an impression of real. JohnnOhio
Just picked up my Maxie from the dealer. Had the headliner fix and reflashed the computer. FIRST IMPRESSIONS on the drive home. Excelleration is less than before. The rpms rev way up a lot more than before as you excellerate. Once up to speed EV seems easier to get into and stay in. (yes I did take it on the highway at 70 in EV) Just took longer to get up to 70. It's going to take some getting used to. I'll have to learm to drive all over again. As expected lost my frequent destinations (EV+) and also my lifetime regen miles. Surprise !! The lifetime EV miles and MPG stayed. I still have 1/2 tank of feul so it will be a while longer to see if I get more miles out of a tank. I'll keep you all updated on my progress. coolmax
Being a past mechanic, I do know that on some updates we would have to disconnect the battery and wait ten seconds for the update to take. This could explain why the memory seats and stuff didn't work.
