GSMacLean
The rear window washer spray on my C-Max comes out in a stream that dribbles down the window. Eventually the wiper manages to spread it over the window, but I'm thinking it should actually spray out over the whole window to begin with. Am I correct in this, or is everyone's car like this? I've attached a picture of what I'm talking about.
LizM
Mine does that, too. And I agree with you, that it doesn't seem to be right.
jdbob
Same here. Ford forgot to put a nozzle in?
Jaydrama
Would a dribble make more sense if you want more of the fluid to reach the glass at high speed? I'm no engineer, but I do try to puzzle out choices others make. robertiv
Laurel
GSMacLean ours works the same as yours, but it seems to clean the window adequately so probably designed that way.
hybridbear
On the few cars I've owned with rear windshield wipers every one has sprayed like this. My parents' Energi sprays the same. I think it's because of the location of the nozzle, unlike in the front, the back nozzle has to be located near the glass and almost parallel. This makes it very hard to get a wider spray that wouldn't miss the window entirely and spray on the back bumper. shadoegrounds
armoredsaint
because if it was a fan spray it would never hit the rear window from the wind when driving -
