MtnMarty Posted September 26, 2013 Report Share Posted September 26, 2013 OK, I've read some earlier threads about this and here's my question: I've ordered a little stubby usb drive (16 gig $12 on Amazon) and it's arriving tomorrow. How should I set up the drive? I'll leave it formatted Fat32 which is how it should come. I've got around 12 gig of music in my itunes library. Can I just drag all of it over to the drive, or should I do an export from itunes? Also, will Maxy index the drive the first time and then I won't have to wait while it does it every time I start up? Yes, I just copy/pasted about 15GB out of iTunes (AAC audio files) directly to the drive and plugged it in to the center armrest USB slot.
