New Max

Just went from a 1999 F150 that I have had since new, to a '13 CMax. Not even 1000 miles yet but very pleased. First tank, minus the 35 miles on the odo from the dealer netted 41.2. Looking better so far. I am a big guy 6'2" and about 220 and find there is plenty of room and very comfortable. Just bought the oil and filter for the first change in a couple of weeks. Going with Mobil 1 full Syn. I don't know what "blend" means. 1qt of full syn in a 55 gal drum of regular oil is a synthetic blend, so I will go for the 100%. If this Max holds up as well as my F series, which I still have, it will be great. We shall see.

Welcome solo and CONGRATS!

I bought a used 98 F-150 super cab v6 5speed and "hypermiling" I could squeeze 19mpg out of it!  $75 fill ups every few days was tough but I bought it cheap, applied a lot of elbow grease to it and some new parts, and then sold it to the first person to come look at it for double my money.  The fuel savings alone will make most of your new car payment!

If you got any questions, poke around the sub-forums or ask away.

Greetings and Welcome

"Not even 1000 miles yet"

Like you I think the first change should be done sooner than later.

You might want to wait a few weeks for your first oil change, you motor (ICE) only has about 500 miles on it.

Subtract EV miles on your left display from the odometer  ='s mile's on your motor.
