BIG ROCCO
CEL went on over the weekend - still on today - engineering test mode shows the subject codes as history, but I can't find them anywhere on the internet to learn what they car. The car runs and sounds normal. We did the "check fuel inlet" message a couple times recently, but not now not for the past week or so. Anyone else see these codes or know what they mean? hybridbear
The C46B86 code also shows on our FFH and many other FFHs. No one has been able to determine what it means.

hybridbear
Thank you for your reply. Is your check engine light on also?It is not. I have occasionally gotten the yellow wrench from using the block heater. Ford finally came out with a TSB and a new software release to fix that issue. I haven't had it performed yet. expresspotato
Anyone ever figure out what C46B86 is? My engine started very rough and was towed to the dealer... Threw code C46B86 from the engineering screen.
kostby
Best possible explanation I've seen so far is that the code points to an error to do with the GPS system receiving invalid data: From 13FFH who posted in this Ford Fusion Hybrid forum thread: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/8431-yellow-engine-and-hist-dtcs/Service department extracted a bunch of "U" codes one of which was U046B:86-08, which looks like the C46B86 that was shown in the DTC ET window. U046B is "Invalid Data Received From Global Positioning System Module". But that kind of error would not seem at all related to your engine issues. ArthurAL
Hey ?️ This morning engine orange light came in.. no strange noise, nothing... and in the engineering mode I saw the DTC C42400 - Looked over the internet and find nothing except maybe a leaking transmission.... I have a Titanium C-Max Energi 2017 with 21800 miles ? Any idea? Update: resetting all the 3 modules and no more issue.. ?
