salsaguy
Looks like Ford is trying to better educate their potential consumer buyers by adding more education about hybrid tech on their websiteShows the differences between the Electric, Plug-In Hybrid and All electric vehicles and why you would need one or the other This is definitely a step in the right direction:I'm sure many here and not on this forum should have read this info first before buying the car they did. (If all things were and if the plug-in didnt have the huge hump in the back to take up all the space, of course) ;) The info on why you may get better/worse mpgs is also an important slide for consumers to understand Check it out: http://social.ford.com/infographics/http://social.ford.com/c-max-infographic/?id=0http://social.ford.com/c-max-infographic/?id=1http://social.ford.com/c-max-infographic/?id=2http://social.ford.com/c-max-infographic/?id=3 there is also a download link at the bottom of each of these pages so if you wanted to print them out and keep them Great stuff Fordthey should have done all this BEFORE the launch of the C-Max and Fusion hybrid and Energi'sand had these available at the dealerships to give to the customers C-MaxSea and hybridbear
fordfan82
I looked at Hybrid vs Electric and Electric is a deal breaker for me bc of the reduced truck, home charger is pricy and there's no charging stations around where I live. The hybrid suits us better. salsaguy

hybridbear
Very cool! The hybrid/PHEV/BEV slide shows exactly why we have one full electric car & one hybrid. We drive the electric car as much as possible and use our FFH for long trips. It only costs $30 in electricity to drive 1000 miles in the Focus Electric, even the FFH can only go about 400 miles for $30 in gas. Thus we use the Focus Electric as much as possible. When it is time to replace the Fusion in 5-7 years I hope there are many more options available so that it can be replaced with a PHEV.
