kruzntaco
I am wanting to add an amp and subs to the cargo area. Does anybody know if there is good way to hook it into the factory stereo since it doesn't seem to be a typical stereo? One method I could probably do is tap into the rear speakers to feed the the sub and amp, which would of course mean that the subs would be on the rear channel. Does anybody know if the C-Max has an additional factory amp located someplace else in the car to power the speakers? I have the basic C-Max package. Any help would be great. ScubaDadMiami
Search around here. There was someone posting about this, but it was a while back. From what I remember, he ended out having to do a very elaborate system in order to make it all work.
wab
Greeting and welcome Ford radios (in my opinion) are inferior, we had the THX upgrade in our 08 MKX, the Sony in our SEL is a little better, mediocre at best. I searched the forum for amplifier then subwoofer then radio.Didn't find much. Here's the thread ScubaDad mentioned.http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/1570-has-anyone-installed-an-amplifier-in-their-c-max/?hl=radio Maybe HotPotato will have an update. ScubaDadMiami
I think that I recall that the noise canceling system causes all kinds of problems, and that it costs a lot of money to get the equivalent of what you can get for less from the upgraded factory sound system.
