salsaguy
Well they finally put out the commercial for the C-Max that they should have done from the very beginning to show off the nice interior and not try and put down the Prius but instead focus on the features and how far it can go. C-Max in the Dessert:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuRmyCqSMSI Your thoughts on how it stacks up to previous C-Max commercials? obob, C-MaxSea, Jus-A-CMax and 1 other
Kelleytoons
Yeah, this is the one I saw during "The Amazing Race" (and I think they showed it two weeks in a row) when I mentioned the sighting in that thread. As I said in that other thread, I found it a very nice commercial and it's actually the first one I've ever seen (I have seen the C-Max briefly mentioned in a total lineup commercial, but never on its own). Then again, my wife and I don't watch many commercials (that's why God invented DVRs).
C-MaxSea
Not bad. Beautifully done, great settings, simple, elegant - short though. Hey, that was our C-Max !!! I noticed full page adds in two magazines lately - I believe it was Sunset & Nat. Geog. Traveler. nsteblay
National public radio is also advertising regularly for the C-Max.
kostby
Saw the C-MAX "Desert" ad while watching NFL football this evening, so it must be a national Ford commercial.Impressive! Captures the essence of the product beautifully, letting the images do most of the talking. It's a positive sign that Ford has regained confidence in the product. I hope it's also a sign that Ford will now undertake a concerted effort to educate (re-educate?) many more dealer salespeople about how to sell the product, and service department personnel about how to diagnose and remedy the remaining ones that continue to be troublesome. @Salsaguy, I'm not poking fun at your misspelling, because I do it all the time, often confounding even my spell checker and Google:I DO wish there were C-MAX Dessert Editions with a few added flavors/colors: "Now available in Vanilla Ice Cream, Blue Candy, Cherry, Dark Chocolate, Lemon Meringue, and Pumpkin Pie. Also available 'A la mode' two-tone paint treatment with a white top." Mmmmm. Gotta go have dessert now! ptjones
BoomerGer
After that commercial for BOTH cars, they seem to be equally the same. Just substitute the names and there ya go. Oh, and hey, I'll have some of that c-Max A LA MODE if ya will......
Wnuk
Found this on yahoo https://autos.yahoo.com/news/2015-ford-c-max-ads-downplay-twice-cut-144632952.html
ScubaDadMiami
I saw the TV ad last night. I like it. They mentioned range on a tank rather than MPG. I have also heard the NPR ad.
RockwallRick
Only 540 miles on a tank of gas! My Wife even does better than that! ptjones
ptjones
I did some checking and about 20% of my fillups were less than 540mi. and probably half of those were done before the tank was low. :) Paul
