RMS13
Dealer ordered a C-Max for me and my wife on 10-15-12. The original build date of 11-12-12. We had the color changed from Ice Storm to Ruby Red on 10-29-12 and the build date changed to 11-14 with a ETA of 11-26. We are moving from a Grand Caravan to the C-MAX - it will be a change for her here at Christmas shopping time. The GC became too big for the two of us as the kids are slowly moving ur or at least becoming independent, not cool to ride with the folks anymore. CassidyB
Welcome to the C-Max family... The C-Max is very quiet in electric mode.. Tell your wife to be careful while cruising the shopping center parking lots.. I've had mine almost two months and I'm shocked at how many people have walked out in front of me.. REC
We used to drive a 2007 Caravan around town for errands and such, and the C-Max is better on every level - especially the mileage!
CrystalSC
I can understand the nervousness of downsizing. I've driven an SUV or SUV-like car for several years but I think the C-Max offers great storage room for the size of the car. Hope you don't have to wait too long! RachelnLa
Same here. The teens and older have their own vehicles. Now it's time for me to get what I want. I worried about going from Tahoe to "car" but it's just not a car feel. Shopping? Guess u fold the seats down or take a few extra trips. You can afford to with the mileage it gets. joe
We're downsizing from the Mercury mini van to the C-max. But one of the selling points for us is the flexibility to load something big into the back of the C-Max. What we lose is the 7-passenger capability. But our mini-van gets under 20 mpg, so if the C-Max delivers anything above 40 mpg we'll be happy. Our C-Max will be arriving sometime early December. Our C-Max test drive convinced us that the C-Max is a nicer car to drive, more comfortable seats, with a lot of nice features.
