Edgeskeez
First and foremost, I want to thank Thomas Kruger from Inno Racks for walking me through the install and explaining the design and features of this system. He met with me after hours to get me what I needed. It was the best customer service I have ever experienced from anyone. I bought an inno roof rack a couple years ago and Thomas pretty much made me a life time customer because of his service last night. Don't be foolish and spend the extra cash on Thule or Yakima when Inno can provide you with comparable quality products with excellent functionality, awesome product support, and most of all, lower prices. Inno is a very popular manufacturer/brand in Japan. They are of high quality and well engineered. In my particular case and in my opinion, the Inno Aero Bar Base System is a better choice because it looks better and you don't have to worry about the bar poking you in the head like the Thule Aeroblade could. Currently for our Cmax, if you want to go with fuel efficient and the quitest roof rack system, then you can only choose between Inno or Thule. I will post his contact info below so you can contact him for more details and some pricing ;). http://www.innoracks...ack-system.html https://www.youtube....h?v=67RugC9ycPE https://www.youtube....h?v=cP_N3576n60 You can mention my name, Ej and that you're from the forums. Or you don't have to if you're Adrian_L. You'll probably get the same great price either way. Adrian_L
Hombre, this forum is about discussing C-maxes. It isn't a bulletin board for commercials. Edited March 12, 2015 by Adrian_L kostby and Bugblndr
Edgeskeez
How is that a commercial? I shared my experience with Inno and its people. If a company gives you great service, then they deserve proper recognition. This is how I strongly feel about the product so im sorry if I was too detailed for you, hombre. I also provided information about one of our options if you're looking for a nice, aerodynamic roof rack system. If others are curious about it or have any questions, then they can post and we can have a discussion. If not, then they are free to read and look at the pics. I also shared a way for you to contact the manufacturer directly and save you guys money. Am I missing something here? Thought I was doing forum members a favor. ptjones and WNYCMax

DavidMBailey
Adrian: While the line between an enthusiastic description and a commercial may be slim, I found this post to be valuable. I've been considering a removable roof rack so I can haul lumber without destroying the interior. I would prefer to take the roof rack off when not in use to preserve the aerodynamic profile of the C-Max. Edgeskeez has pointed out another vendor and has done some of the research for me. Edgeskeez: Thanks for all the contact information; this is why I follow this forum. While I may not use it, it's good to know that there's another supplier and that the design and support are good.--David Edgeskeez

ChrisMax
I own the Thule rack and have never even come close to poking myself in the head with the bar. Both the systems look similar so it seems to be a choice of color either black or aluminum. The entire Thule Aeroblade system costs about $460 dollars (doesn't include bike rack). How much for the Inno rack? obob

Email Thomas at Thomas@innoracks.com regarding pricing because he has to factor in shipping if you are not local. I paid $351 (tax included) and was able to pick it up instead of paying for shipping. Taiwwa
My CMax has a moonroof. Is that a problem with these roof racks? I'm thinking of getting a roof rack for the off chance I want to canoe around.
