Clemdog
I find that my plug in battery seems to never charge to the same amount. For example sometimes only charges to 15 or 16. Once it charged as much as 35. Frequently its in the low 20s. Why is this so variable?Any thoughts?
Noah Harbinger
I'm not familiar with the plug-in. Do you have a picture of what the display you're reading says?
ArizonaEnergi
You might want to post that question on the Energi forum. But what you are seeing is just the estimated range for your next trip based on your last trip, as adjusted for the impact of any accessories you might have running like the A/C, headlights, etc.. It is not the level of charge, which will always be 100% if you allowed it to finish. http://fordcmaxenergiforum.com Thead on this topic: http://fordcmaxenergiforum.com/topic/1858-my-energi-not-charging-properly/?hl=%2Bestimated+%2Brange&do=findComment&comment=13711 Edited April 25, 2015 by ArizonaEnergi

If you were using the heat or max A/C, for example, the power draw would be high, and thus have a lower estimated range. If you were gliding home in EV+, using little energy, you will get a higher reading. The MFT "Leaf" display shows the exact percentage of the HVB. It should read 100% when you unplug.
