polarisjoe Posted August 28, 2018 Report Share Posted August 28, 2018 Hello all. Without a doubt, my 2013 Cmax is the best car I've ever bought. Bought it Oct 2012. Only two problems since then. 1)Every August the 12V battery needs to be jumped since 2016. Why can't hybrid battery take care of that? Battery tests fine. 2)Back seat AC/USB outlet out of commission, not a fuse problem. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

stolenmoment Posted August 29, 2018 Report Share Posted August 29, 2018 Not charging the 12v from the HVB when car is off seems to be a basic design decision. Yes, I'd think that the car should be willing to drain the hybrid battery because a dead 12v bricks the car, but I didn't design the thing.
