Fits2at
Is Eco cruise just another name for cruise control? If so, I haven't found an advantage to it yet. When set at 60mph the only time it switches to EV is on a downhill slope. I have tried setting it when cruising along in EV mode even and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Am I missing something? MikeB
No, Eco cruise is a setting that applies to cruise control, it makes the system slightly less aggressive at holding speeds. So when you start going uphill, the cruise control is more likely to let your speed drop a bit, rather than instantly applying more gas to keep the speed where you set it. Fits2at
How do you set Eco cruise? I can find any specifics in the owners manual.
From Speed6ing 2 C-Maxing
Page 122 of the manual Left side screen (left of the speedo) - Scroll down to Settings -> Driver Assist -> Eco Cruise -> On. Fits2at
Arthur
ECO Cruse is kind'a like putting an egg between your foot and the gas peddle, going easy on the speed'in up.
Jus-A-CMax
ECO cruise is great. Set it to the lowest cruise speed eg. 58mph and then use P&G to shoot up to 65 and EV glide as long as you can.If you run out of patience or batteries, let it go to eco cruise to recharge. I luv it. jhritz
