    The short answer is NO "secret warranty" assistance. Your best bet is to source a salvaged transmission which came out of a post Aug. 15 2015 vehicle. Search this site as several have done such. If your mechanic is reasonable, you should get out with no more than 11 hours of labor. Add maybe $1500 or less for transmission, shipping, and miscellaneous parts. See attached TSB.
