    They both drop out the bottom, then you remove the transmission - (at least I've never heard of doing it any other way).

    Owned one year now, bought used at a dealer. Started at 23.500 miles, now at 51k so it gets used by me when I'm not on the motorcycle, which also sees 14k a year. Then my wife takes it when I'm not using it.
