  1. We love HEB. unfortunately, it did not survive the test run in Louisiana. Taxes on food here are at 9.5% We live close enough to the Texas border that my husband is planning grocery shopping trips to super HEB once I get my car lol. Gotta love it.
  2. While I am ahem patiently awaiting the new car, I am plagued with thoughts of where to put things. I know we talked about the bottomless compartment between the seats before, but where are you putting those must haves? I put my purse on the hump on the floor in the Tahoe. It fits snug. I keep my window shade in the door compartment along with my umbrella. I usually carry a water bottle with me too. I currently have these moisture absorbing disks in the bottom of the cup holder. I highly recommend them. Stops the bottom from getting icky. I keep a trash bag hanging from the ashtray. I keep extra napkins in the glovebox. I would love to keep a box of Kleenex but I may have to go with a small packet in the bottomless pit. I also keep an empty paper towel roll stuffed with grocery bags tucked under the driver seat because you just never know. Anyone have items you cannot live without? Where are you storing them? I also have a rubbermaid tub in the back of my truck filled with safety kit items. A friend gave me a trunk organizer for cmas and I cannot wait to use it. It will probably hold items I currently carry rather than grocery bags. I have a lot of time to *think* before my car arrives lol

I had a hard time deciding. I love green and ice storm was as close to green as I was getting. Loved the pop of red. I have seen the blue and it's not as bright as I envisioned it to be. Hard to pick a color when the only color on the lot is white.
  4. Not sure nice my car is not here lol. I know you can. I did it on the one I drove home. Put in reverse and in the upper right hand corner there should be a spot on the nav screen for it. If memory is correct. But I know you can because I commented on it to my husband about using it to connect things by himself and not needing my hand signals. He laughed saying he didn't think it could tow stuff.

Welcome! Glad you are enjoying the car. It sure looks pretty against that snow.

Another expecting parent! Congrats and welcome.
  8. Well, 6 bazillion look ups on the window sticker site yielded nothing <snort>. The second phase of waiting begins.
  9. Funny, didn't notice Til you mentioned it. I had to go back and look.
  10. Lolol. Y'all are funny. My husband rolls his eyes when I talk to my Tahoe and then giggle and say I thought I was talking to my cmax. It's all in fun.
  11. Thanks guys. You name it he makes it: peach, muscadine, blueberry, mulberry, pear etc. it's all good. And he makes apple pie! It's like drinking liquid apple pie. It will kick your tail!
  12. I am a bubble gum pop girl or some good old Cajun French music.
  13. I'm hungry. Love it! I reference everything to the car in waiting. Like: My new car will obey when I speak. Radio, temp etc My new car would have nav and tell us where Jason's deli is in this new town. My new car has hands free hatch! I think he is slightly annoyed.
  14. Yikes! Hope the issues are cleared up soon and it's something easy!
  15. Oh! Any time one of y'all pass this way please give me a holler. I would love to share my state with you. My dad makes his own wine too! Hahahaha
  16. No sticker yet! I agree, seems a lot of people were/are playing the waiting game. I will be checking that sticker site often. About how long before I can get the window sticker?
  17. I have news. I got VIN numbers for the cars! Natasha said they should be built in 3-4 weeks. I sure wish they would explain the hold up. I am excited and dreading telling my dad. He hasn't been thrilled either with the whole ordeal either. If it takes this long to get the car ordering from November, just think how long a new order will take. My dad told me while we were looking at cars this would probably be his last car. :( I want him to hurry and enjoy it! Maybe now they will come in together? It would be nice for them to cut some off the price for all the hassle but I must be dreaming. Thanks everyone!
  18. No. I figured the dealer should be on the horn! I have the number and will be contacting them!
  19. Lmao! Love it. I agree, ford needs to be giving feedback to the dealers also but the dealers need to be honest and say they have no clue what's going on. At least ACT concerned. Show some sincerity. Return a phone call, research, find out all you can. Do not kee p telling me "it's ordered." I emailed once a week, when that email went unanswered after four days I texted. Those soon went unanswered also. My husband even called the general manager and he acted like it was no big deal, cars take months to come in. If it were MY business and at the meetings you know they have where they report sales etc, if a car was on order for weeks I would be riding my workers to handle up on it. Just staying in contact means so much. It's part of building that relationship. I feel like a scorned lover lol.
  20. Natasha has been kind enough to help me each week look for an update. She suggested asking them for the verification order do-hicky. I already did. And I asked to please check to make sure the order was placed correctly. They just keep telling me they are checking on it or they will call me back or the sales manager is looking into it and calling their ford sales rep. Right! They promised delivery of two cars with one in December and one by the end of january. I will keep MY word and give them until that. After that, I will take my money elsewhere. I really don't think they will pull two cars out their arse in the next two weeks! Our local dealer handles them now. We will be checking with them. I am southern raised. My daddy taught me a mans word was his worth. So far, they ain't worth a crap. I just hope my southern belle self can contain myself. I am sure my daddy will wipe the floor clean with them.
