Same feelings here. It gets better than my current, time to down size without giving up the roomy feeling, love the power, love the style. We tested lots of cars both hybrid and non hybrid. Loved the cmax from the drive out the lot. No other car raised my brow. I was sold.

From what I understand the dealer is allocated x number of cars to order. Crazy, but we heard this at almost every dealer - they had to get allocation approval. I have heard this too: If they are ordering for the lot and then another dealer needs one for a customer the customers car comes first. My dealer has no clue about tracking. None. I just pray they ordered correctly. I may have to make a surprise trip and see what they can give me as far as information. I would really be upset to wait weeks only to find they didn't do it correctly.

I took a cmax home for a few days and drove it like a regular car. I was able to get 38-39mpg. I am sure by paying attention and after the car breaks in I should have no problem seeing that mpg climb. The room sold me too. I tried a ford focus and it was like riding in a clown car. My teens have cars of their own so ts ime to downsize. Yeah me! Lol
