  1. 12M02 shows on ETIS for my C-Max also. I received an e-mail from Ford detailing the extended warranty coverage and was instructed to print it out and keep for future reference.
  2. I absolutely love my C-Max. Everything about it......comfort, ride, handling, high-end tech, and the mileage. I have had ALL of the upgrades done and all without a hitch. I am fortunate to have two dealers equidistant from me and make use of both of them.......they are top notch. I traded a 2011 Flex SEL ( my second one ) and got top dollar. I had a factory rebate and a private rebate that I applied to the C-Max. I also used my company's X-Price Plan with Ford. I went into the process well informed and with realistic expectations. I got a GREAT deal and have been satisfied beyond expectations. I had to change and adapt my driving skills and habits to fit the C-Max to achieve the highest MPG. I am a better driver for it and it pays off at the pump. And now I am getting a $550.00 check from Ford......SWEET.
  3. Both options have their shortcomings.....but if I had to choose, I would take the MFT. I have become accustomed to it and find it easier to use each passing day. I would like to have HUD.....should be offered on the C-Max ( I prefer a digital speedo ).
  4. I have never experienced this.....but if I did, I would take it to my dealer, tell them what happened and let them check things out. Way too much going on here not to have it checked.
  5. I had the PCM upgrade and the A/C SSM done last week. The tailgate was done in early July. I performed the SYNC update myself on Monday. All is working fine and it took my dealer two days to complete. So far, no problems or glitches.
  6. Took the C-Max to the dealer today.......had a laundry list. 1) Right LCD control on steering wheel does not work in hot temps. 2) Buzzing ( exhaust?? ) in rear when car has 3 or 4 passengers and accelerating. 3) Squeaking and thumping in front suspension over bumps and in dips. 4) A/C buzzing ( loud ) intermittently. 5) PCM performance update. Lifetime Avg MPG was 41.1 when taken in today. Has been as high as 44.8 for a while but a recent trip lowered that. I love my C-Max and she just keeps getting better and better. Tips given here on the forum have taught me how to increase my mileage and improve the owner experience. The recent trip that lowered my MPG Avg was on I-10 from Mobile to Jacksonville....just ate it alive. My sweet spot is 67 MPH......stayed well above that on I-10. I hope the PCM upgrade will allow that sweet spot to be raised above 70mph. Here in the South, Interstate speed limits are at least 70mph.....so doing 75mph drags your mpg down real quick. Fingers crossed!
  7. I have completed the following LED upgrades..... License Plate Cargo Area Puddle Tomorrow I will tackle the glove box. LED's for the back-up lights are on order. The results are well worth the time and effort......looks great.
  8. I too am in the process of replacing as many bulbs as possible. I have ordered three different kinds of LED. I plan to replace the license plate lights, the back-up lights, the cargo lights, puddle lights, and glove box light. Turn signals and brake lights will be a later project. I have already replaced headlights ( low and high ) with Silver Star bulbs. I am also looking for suitable LED DRL's.
  9. Like.....the Sony sound system Dislike.....every light on the C-Max should have been LED
  10. My C-Max has made noise on at least two occasions ( that I heard ). The door to the garage ( the C-Max is parked with the front end right at the door ) is located between the MB and the kitchen. The noise prompted me to open the door and see what was going on in the garage. What I heard was more of a buzzing with some clicking sounds. I figured it was par for the course for the C-Max.
  11. Mine did it today....this makes three times. All three times the car was at the same place. Coincidence? I wonder if this is normal or a sign of impending trouble? The fact that it says " Scheduled " eases my mind a little.
