Well yesterday was a sad day, I traded in MADMAX for FEHP(maybe I'll come up for Name for it). I just Loved driving that car! It doesn't handle quite as good as CMAX and it is wider, I have to watch for my side view mirrors going into the garage. I think sitting higher up you don't get the sensation of speed either. It is going to take a while to get use too the instruments/gauges also.
I did some cost comparison between EV charging vs gas at 2.76 at Sam's. It is the same at work .15/Kh vs .51 cheaper at home .12/Kh. It is looking like it doesn't make cense to charge on a trip unless you can get the cost down to .12/Kh.
I charged up over night and it showed 100% charged this morning, ScanGaugeII had 90% and when it showed 0% charge SGII showed 24%. This morning it showed a range of 40 miles and after 7 mile trip it showed 34 miles. I plugged in the Level 1 charger and the ranged dropped to 31 miles and it showed 2 hours to get back to 100%.
For some reason I don't get the feeling of speed that I did in the CMAX. I was watching Regen and I don't know where it is putting the charge because SOC didn't change.Paul

Well I just got called from the Sales Mgr that they have my car and going to see it at noon and pick it up tomorrow. I just got yesterday a Cash Rewards for Escape of $1250 to go with $500 trade-in bonus and zero % financing for 3 years along with the Xplan price. SM is giving me a phone # to call at FORD that might give me a discount for waiting so long. We will see. I will post pics when I see it.

Nothing at this moment would surprise me, tracking still says it's in production.☹️

My FEHP is in production and I have window sticker. As of today it shows it's in production and will be delivered 8/25/21. I'm hoping for better delivery time.

Yes, but it isn't over yet until I get it. I made Grill Covers over a year ago for it and My Wife bought Solar Screens for all the windows. I will be making wheel covers shortly.

My Dealer Sales Manager says my FEHP will be built today, and should have it in two weeks assuming they have chips for it. I'm hoping that something will finally go right.

It looks like in May.

I just talked to my FORD Sales Manager and he checked and found 15 FEHP within 1,000 miles from here, 10 were Fleet Orders, but 5 were dealer orders for sale. You could have your Dealer search to find one.

I think the HVB goes where spare tire goes. Three weeks to go till my build date for FEHP. There is a member on the FE 2013 and newer Site that has a 2021 FEHP, he hasn't explained how that happened. He said he is getting 34-38 miles per charge. https://www.fordescape.org/threads/phev-driving-settings.117920/#post-1161984

Well my Life Time average just went backup to 50.9 mpg from dropping down to 50.8 mpg during the winter. My Fuelly.com should be going up soon also.?

My Sales Mgr the chips are coming from Japan.

More bad News, FORD has pushed off the FEHP for another two months, July 26. It's been sounding like a never ending story for sometime. The same chip problem and Summer Vacations for the plants.

With 270k miles I haven't touched the brakes yet, I rarely drive on snowy treated roads and my LifeTime braking Score is 98%.

Cool. Does it influence your driving behavior, or is it just "the more you know"? What other data do you monitor, besides S.O.C?
Would love to read up on it, I bought a FIXD OBD scanner at some point, but haven't unpacked it.
I use the ScanGaugell to make decisions on how to drive all the time, like how long to use EV and when not to use it.

Interesting that I have always had my 2013 CMAX in EV+ and I use a ScanGaugeII to monitor SOC (State of Charge). There is more to this story, I have found that if you stop for an hour or two and your SOC is around 40% -44% actual as displayed by ScanGaugeII when you shut off the car, the SOC won't change much. But if your SOC is below 40% like the other evening when I got home my SOC was 37% and in the morning it was 26%, the lowest I have ever seen it. Of course the ICE started immediately, the ICE will start anytime the SOC is below 33%. When the SOC is above 44% when car is shut off and then turned on a few hours later the SOC will go up, last night it was 47% SOC and this morning 57%. SOC gauge reads from 33-65% SOC actual so you can only use 32% SOC normally. You can force the SOC to go higher by arriving home with 55% SOC and in the morning you could have 70% SOC. IIRC I got home from a long trip with SOC in the high 50's and in the morning it was 80%, what a blast to drive like an Energi ? and could have gone 3 miles if I kept the speed below 35 mph. I heard that this change is caused from the HVB module balancing the level of the individual cells when car is shut down.

Who is going to jump to the Escape Hybrid?

I did a 100% at work, about 2 hrs and it showed 36 mile range, it is uphill to work and down to home last night which would explain the difference of range of 40 mi. this morning and 36 mi. now.
I'm going to hold off on doing any Mods like Grill and Wheel Covers, Gas Pods, tire pressure, rear wheel well covers ect. until I get a good understanding of the car. I may take a couple of weeks for that to happen. I'll keep on Posting as I come across New things
