  1. I'll be following your story. It's identical to mine . Please keep posting and include the date of manufacture which is on your door sticker.
  2. Keep Posting . I'm listening to every C-Max complaint that is posted. Please let me know your dates of manufacture that is found on the door jam sticker.
  3. Don't jump the C-Max. Put the cables on the terminal posts under the hood then put it into Neutral. Then have it flatbedded or dollyed to the dealership. Please post the date of manufacture on this site.
  4. I am in the process of attempting to get a buyback in New Hampshire. Thank-you all for posting your experiences and how you dealt with FORD. I'm still looking for a successful buy back for $ not another c-max. I'm also looking for an automotive engineer not working for Ford.
  5. After 4 failures, my battery was replaced this week. I'll keep you all posted on what happens next. Car was built in summer of 2012, purchased in fall and first failure occurred before 1100 miles. Nightmare
  6. My 2013 Early C-max just came back from attempt #5 by FORD to find out why it suddenly dies. They changed the battery this time. Does anyone know of an automotive engineer (not employed by Ford) that is familiar with this problem?
  7. My 2013 C-Max SE has the exact same repeted dead battery issue. First time the car was found dead it had 1300 miles on it. At the Ford Service Dept , no issue/problem could be found. Now it has gone dead mysteriously twice in a week ( now has 11000 mi). The third time it was found dead it was towed to the Ford Authorized Service Dept without being jump started. It was plugged into the computer and no error messages were found. The car is dead in the service bay and the diagostic computer is showing no problems. The Ford Co "regional customer service manager" has not returned my calls for over a week. My region is New England.I have found.other C-Max owners in the north east who have taken to carrying jumper boxes in the cars due to the same issue. The car handles well and I'm satisfied with the milage. But as a previous poster wrote, if it's unreliable its worthless. Looking into Lemon Laws
  8. My 2013 C-Max SE has EXACTLY the same issues. First time that the car was found dead it had 1300 miles on it. At the Ford Service Dept no issue/problem could be found. Now it has gone dead mysteriously twice in this week (milage is about 11000). The third time it was found dead, it was towed to the Ford Authorized Service Department without being jump started. It was plugged into the computer and no error messages were found. The car is dead in the service bay and the diagnostic computer is showing no problems. The Ford Co. "regional customer service manager" has not returned my call for over a week now. I live in New England. I have found another C-Max owner in the northeast who has taken to carrying a jumper box in his car because of the same issue. The car handles well and I am satisfied with the milage. But like the previous poster....if it unreliable, it's worthless. Looking into NH Lemon Laws as well.
