I'll bet its the wheel bearings, I had a new 2012 FORD FOCUS and the bearings went out at 2000 miles. Ford told me they had a rash of bad bearings at the factory. Your CMax should be quiet as a mouse!! Thanks and enjoy!!!

I just turned 5000 miles on my 2014 cmax. Not one single problem! I am getting 600 miles per tank of gas on regular basis. This car draws circles around the 2012 ford focus I previously owned. Enjoy the ride!!

Got my check today for $475, bought car in January 2014 Thank You Ford, My lifetime millage is 44.5 and climbing.

You are making a big mistake choosing a Subaru (Who talks about Subaru's anyway) and not the Ford Cmax. I have a 2014 SEL CMax which I have owned since January 2014. I have not had one single problem with the batteries or anything. You may need to do your research again. I do agree they had problems with the 2013's but from what my dealer told me the issues were resolved. Sorry you are making the wrong decision. Test drive the CMax and you will see what everyone is talking about.

I am a very very happy with my 2014 Cmax. My life time mpg is 43.9 and climbing. I did not buy the car for mpg only. I like the body style and ride. Its a blast to drive. I look at it this way if we got the 47/47/47 but the car was cheaply made, rode rough and with no thrills would we be happY? Honestly an additional 3.1 mpg is no big deal to me. On the other hand, trade in value has always been the same, you just lose! Thanks, this is just my 2 cents worth.

I wouldn't worry about a loss of a few MPG on those hot muggy days. I want to be comfortable when driving my CMax.

Zone 1090, Did they replace the seat covers also? Did the dealer do the job or a professional? Thanks

I never had a problem with the kick to open/close on my 2014 I have gone 420 miles on a little less than 1/2 tank of gas!!

I love my 2014 Ruby Red C-Max, never any problems and think the gas millage is great also.

My 2014 SEL averages 45+ MPG in a 10 mile city trip. A lot of times it will be 50+ MPG. My overall since Day 1 Jan 2014 is 43.4 and my last two fill up averaged over 600 miles per tank. I would have your car checked out by the dealer they will help you. Thanks

My 2014 average is 43.1 with 3800 on the clock. I continually average 50+ MPG per tank of gas. It just gets better and better!!! No complaints or trips back to the dealer since new 1/14. Thanks

ScubaDadMiami, My 2014 on the drivers door shows the tire pressure should be 40 PSI. I have mine at 42PSI Thanks Ponypower

I was wondering, do you have a 2013 or 2014. I have owned my 2014 SEL since January, and have never had a problem with the battery or anything for that matter. I don't do anything special like locking the doors in the garage. Thanks, I am sure the dealer will take care of the problem.

2014 Ruby Red CMax here in Chicago, not one single problem, 3900 miles, average MPG life time 42.7 She's a keeper, and a blast to drive.

I had the same situation with my 2012 Ford Focus. I was going 65 mph and the engine quit and rolled to a stop. I waited about a minute and the car restarted. I went directly to the dealer. My car was in the shop for two days and they finally said the PCM or power control module went out. They replaced it and the car was fine after that. I was wondering if the part came from China.

Congratulations on getting a C-Max. I also have a Ruby Red with 301 package and just love the car. No problems at all. I have 3600 miles on the car and the overall MPG is 42.9 and climbing. I have been getting 600+ miles per tank of gas.

Welcome and congratulations on your new C-Max. I also traded a 2012 Ford Focus, could not stand the problems with the transmission, hated that car.
