2014-2017 C-Max Energi 3G to 4G modem update

I've just inquired about my 2013 Ford C-max energi on upgrading my 3g modem to a 4g modem. They said they can do it but i have pay for the modem and labor which is about $450. The newer years i believe ford will pay for the modem but the customer has to pay for labor which is about $100.
