  1. Yep. I plan on getting the next inspection in November.
  2. Experiencing a similar issue here. The dealer says there are four codes that won't clear. Our ODBC2 reader shows only one. They gave me the car to drive for a while, and I've been driving in a variety of traffic conditions, trying to run the ICE as much as possible. Put over 250 miles on the car and still the codes haven't cleared. My service advisor told me this morning they're going to contact Ford and see if there's something else they can do. So I'm driving around with an expired inspection sticker. If Ford can't figure out anything today, I'm going to apply for a waiver so I won't have to pay a fine.
  3. No signature? That's not good. We've had stuff swiped from our porch before.
  4. A couple of months ago a friend got her new (to her) Lexus backed into in a parking lot. The CCTV at the business picked up the accident. About the same time I was in a parking lot (in my C-Max), getting ready to leave, and I heard a BANG. The guy next to me had opened his door right into mine. Oddly enough, he hit the handle and didn't do any damage. It was just really loud. The guy just started his car, waved, and drove off. I muttered several choice words not fit for repeating in this venue.
  5. You might ask the city (or whoever owns the park) if they have a CCTV camera or two covering the lot. Can't hurt.
  6. I got a Kia Soul. You've seen the ads with the hamsters? That's what's under the hood. But hey, it got me home and back down to the Houston area to pick up my car when it was ready.
  7. Ha! The big difference between Man U and the Cowboys is that Man U can win titles.
  8. Took our car in on Monday for the headliner and newest software update fixes. They swore it would be ready at the end of the day, so I figured I wouldn't ask for a car. Son is home from college and I can bum a ride off of him. It was ready yesterday. The only reason I'm not fuming over this is that I ended up with an eye infection and can't drive anyway. Husband and son picked the car up yesterday, took it out on the freeway, and got over 70MPH in EV mode. Cool. When the C-Max broke down earlier this summer 300+ miles from home, the local dealer did not hesitate to offer me a rental. they said it was covered under warranty. So perhaps an emergency repair is a different situation than a recall?

  10. Took my driving text in a 1967 Plymouth Fury station wagon. Parallel parking was an adventure. In college I had a Volvo 544 and a Volvo station wagon. My brother had a Volvo P1800. Sweet car, until he totaled it.
  11. Hey, life's a beach. And then you dive. ;-)
  12. I have a Galaxy Nexus (a phone of the purest Google), and it will make and receive calls, do Caller ID, stream media, but will not do text messages. That's okay, as I don't do a lot of text messaging. Son has a G4, and it will do text messaging. I've only had one issue, and it's not Sync-related. After Sprint pushed an update several months ago, the name of the phone got changed. Of course, I didn't realize that immediately. I could sync up the phone, but after I turned off the car, it would lose sync. We chaged the phone name in Bluetooth Settings back to what it had been, and everything worked just fine. I mention that in case anyone else runs into problems after their phone gets an update.
