  1. thanks cr08 mine doesn't show that at all. just on the left side for trip data. a few days the bats got up to 17 miles charge. but still hoovering around 15 miles... stinks. i was seeing tanks over 100mpg per tank having a 20 mile range. and being able to use heat. now going to work, no heat, and occasionally running with windows cracked to prevent fogging when cold. and in having the engine kick on occasionally in the last mile or so, stinks... oh well, still better than the alternative...
  2. @Billyk24 What dash display is that from?
  3. fwiw saw this thread as well... So if the battery is degrading....is there a point at which its warrant-able? do I make a trip to ford and document the decline, or what until I get closer to the 8/100 warranty expiring. Was thinking about the maverick too... and this thread https://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/8230-expected-life-of-hvb-and-cost-to-replace/
  4. @cr08 Fully aware of temps and such and climate control usage. I just find it strange that I was seeing 20-22 estimated range and now its only showing 15... and i was able to make the trip to work with miles and charge left. Now the battery tank is empty. that's a 25% drop. with no climate usage. Its showing 100% charge but only 15 miles. but it was showing 100% with 20-22 within the last 30-60 days. So what other testing can I do, wait for warmer weather? just feels off,
  5. Hey folks, recently 2015 energi does not seem to be fully charging. when sitting overnight on a 120v charger or at a 240 charger at work. only goes up to estimated range of 15 miles? in the past i was seeing 20 and the occasional 21-22 mi estimate range the 15 mile estimate range is an actual 15 mile range. my drive to work is 15.4 miles and I used to be able to make the drive all electric no problem. Not now. yes I know that in the winter time batteries don't have as great of a range. car is garaged at work and at home. yes I know the cabin heater is electric as well, but when I turn on the heater the range drops to 10mi. I have driven several times with out the heater on just trying to see if its an estimation/display error. but it doesn't seem to be just seem like the battery isn't holding as much charge...Dead cells? Any one have any ideas? the recently had the purge valve replaced, but I don't think the dealer trip and the battery range is correlated. If it is, I didn't notice the range issue then. 50K miles on the car... any ideas? on my drive home tonight I'll get the amount KW used to get home. with no heater (might be a warm enough) and post
  6. hate revive an old dead thread.... but... had the p04ef code pup up.... and rather than start here, I did some internet sleuthing and then to the dealer. after printing out the TSB 19-2207 which supersedes tsb 14-0193. dealer is saying that its not covered under the emission warranty... figured I was in the clear since its emission related. gotta read the fine print. all data says 1.1 hours for a non warranty repair. I think I' gonna be on the hook for a few hundred bucks... note to self... always check here first. but I would not have been able to do the reprogram... 7. 973 miles on the first tank.... of course 2021 wouldn't let me off the hook. hit a deer about 2 weeks ago.... SMH only needed a new bumper cover...
  8. Any one have any knowledge about the My GO times programming for the Cmax Energi. screen comes up, but won't let me program...
  9. factory rubber floor mats. came with the energi I just bought. dont need them. the drivers side has some wear, but not bad looking free to good home, you pay shipping.
  10. now the proud owner of a 2015 cmax energi... out the door taxes, tags, titles, ect 11400 same color too. now just need ot learn how best to squeeze mileage out of the enrgi. drive to work is only 18miles. so I should be seeing some pretty good fuel numbers....
  11. good deal bad deal.. 2016 energi SEL $10500 35000miles two owner car no accidents (if you believe car fax) been sitting on their lot since nov 4
  12. plus 3 ive been working all my linguistic magic, so far no dice. My adjuster is just dealing property losses. No injury claim, so there really isn't much else to go after. they will pay out sale tax, tag, titles etc. but since the earliest dmv appointment is 2 months away, legally I'm in a no mans land as to whether or not I could swap tags make the appointment and ride... dealer fees...if I go to a dealer, then the dealer takes care of a ll that and they usually charge a crap ton more... having to take time off work to make the purchase. all that going to add up to real money... I just cant make up my mind on whether or not I want to stick with the Cmax if I get into a newer cmax, it will be familiar, but even if I get into a 2018 its still the same tired interior from 2013. i like the utility of the suv/crossover aspect of the cmax, but wife has a forester so don't really need it. I could get by with a smart for 2. then wading through all of the local ads, and then toss in carvana, zoom and all the online dealers mudding up the water, so if you see something you like you may not be able to look at it until you buy and it gets delivered or its on the otherside of the country. heck you used to able browse craigslist and find some decent deals, but now the dealers have taken over that.... i know first world problem, and I'm just venting.
  13. sorry it took so long to get back to everyone. on friday they finally gave me a price of 8061 (after taxes), if they retain the vehicle. not a hateful offer. they had some pretty good comp sales in my area to compare against. initial repair cost were over 3k, but then started removing parts and looking for more damage and they found it. Given the whole pandemic thing, dealing with the DMV is not something I want to do. Earliest appointment for titling/registration is more than 60 days out. I am hoping to get a few more bucks out of them. If I make a private party sale, it will take me a couple months until I get it legally titled and tagged which means a rental car. if I end up at dealer, it means paying the dealer markup plus all the fees. so Now I'm in the market. I liked the cmax, I could likely get into another one, newer with some cash out of pocket.. Maybe even considering a true plug in... since most of my driving is to from work under 20 miles each way and we have plugs at work. I do make a few longer trips 60 one way from time to time.
