  1. Have any of the high mileage users, or others had occasion to have had to replace their high voltage batteries? I'm just curious. I remember that the original warranty was for 100,000 miles on the batteries and I've exceeded that in my 4 years ownership. So I was just wondering if this is something I should start planning for or if the actual usage lifespan should well exceed that number. My feeling is that one should see an increase of the charge/discharge cycles or decrease in the length of EV usage that should be noticeable when they reach their end of life cycle. But, I really don't know. So I'm just posing the question.
  2. I too am having a problem. But only accessing the main page I used Google to search until it came up with a page off of the main page and it would let me in. To try and use a shortcut to the main page resulted in denial. Both with I.E. and Chrome.

  4. Still waiting here also. I did notice the change on the page about the siri eyes free though.
  5. My 2013 has the Lights on with wipers setting. However the lights only come on with the wiper turned to low or high setting. The lights do not come on if the wipers are left in the rain sensing mode. Even if the rain is coming down in sheets and the sensing wipers are wiping like crazy. It may work differently if you have intermittent wipers as opposed to the rain sensing.
  6. Customer Service Program 12M02 - For Ford vehicles, the APIM coverage is extended to a total of five years from the warranty start date, regardless of mileage, which exceeds the original warranty coverage provisions of your vehicle for this part. Coverage is automatically transferred to subsequent owners. Whatever the radio symptoms are, depending on the dealer, they will try to blame everything but the APIM. 7. Does getting a vehicle health report require access to the sync services subscription or can you get one without subscribing?
  8. The dealerships being "independently owned" vs company owned has really damaged the customers ability to get problems addressed without going to the extremes of threatened or engaging in legal action. Both want to stay at arms length and point fingers at the other. Meanwhile they each say their hands are tied, even though they would 'love' to help get your issue resolved. I truly believe the people (CSM, Service Manager, Technician, etc..) want to help but have run into such an arcane system with no ultimate solution available. Some emails to try mfields@ford.com, wford@ford.com. Though again the answer may be it's really someone else's responsibility.
  9. I don't think that the SYNC services are ones that Ford is too keen on selling. I just spent 15 minutes on the SyncMyRide site to see if I can renew service and there ins't even a link to order. Or, if its there it's pretty well hidden from the purchasing public. Microsoft lost out on the next generation of Sync or whatever it will be called. So while I think in car functionality will increase, satellite services like TraveLink are as far as they're going anytime in the near future.
  10. Mine just ran out in October. I used it for sending routing info from MapQuest and from the Sync destinations app on my phone. It helped when I had an address in an email and needed to push it the nav. We used it a couple of time to check movie listings and times at a local theater, or to check weather and traffic at a location we were driving to. Nice services yes, but I don't know if it's worth whatever the cost of it is. Like I said they expired in October but I just noticed it yesterday.
  11. I had a similar problem with my radio where the AM or FM station display would not update when I changed channels. In my case though an error code was thrown (I don't remember the code) saying that the radio was not communicating with the SD card (I know that is NAV but still) they replaced the A4 with an A5 and all was now working and has not faulted since. Chronicled here http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/4188-maxus-sync-system-messed-up/ Starting at Post#6
  12. I had a Plymouth Satellite in the 70's. The air conditioner pump pulley broke. They said the car was too new and the parts were not in the system yet. After a week of waiting, the dealer's service manager drove to a Flint, Michigan factory where the A/C pumps were manufactured and got them to give him a new pulley off of the line. He brought it back to Ypsilanti and installed it in my car. That is service!
