  1. :2thumbs: Glad to hear you finally got it taken care of to your satisfaction!
  2. Didn't take long at all to find what I was thinking about. This is for cracking of the leather on the booster part of the seat. Perhaps your dealer can get the seats repaired using this corrective action. When you open the link below, scroll up to the first post. TSB-15-0129 http://fordcmaxhybridforum.com/topic/5327-tsb-15-0129-cracked-leather-seat-cushion/?hl=%2Bleather+%2Bseats&do=findComment&comment=61426
  3. If I'm not mistaken, there was actually some type of TSB or customer satisfaction program regarding the leather seats on some C-Max vehicles. I think 2015 models were included in it. Try doing a search for it on the board here and on the Energi forum. If I get time later, I'll also see if I can find it.
  4. The one year free service trial expired on my 2015 C-Max in April. I renewed the service for $60.00 because I use it pretty often. Even though my navigation map is the A6 version, there are locations which are not on the map, or new restaurants, etc. You are given 20 free operator assisted calls with the first year of trial service, and then an additional 20 calls each time you renewal the services. The unused calls can be carried over when you renewal your services as long as you do it before the expiration date. Because I had unused calls from a Ford Edge which came with 3 years of services, I now have 70 calls or so still available. Services can be used for navigation (they will send the directions to your car), business search ( again, directions to your car or they will text you the information such as address, phone, etc), weather, sports scores, news, gas prices and locations, and a few other features. For $5.00 a month, I think it is well worth it for my needs.
  5. A fast clicking bulb usually means the filament is burned out for the turn signal. It will still light because it is a dual filament bulb. One for the running lights, one for the turn signal. Check both the front and rear bulbs to make sure one of them isn't burned out.
  6. The Walmart rebate for the same period in 2015 does not apply now for 2016 according to the Mobil 1 site.
  7. No more Town & Country but Pacifica? The Town and Country are still going to be built as a mini-van as long as a demand exists for it, according to FCA. The Pacifica is being offered as a cross between an SUV and a mini-van.
  8. Here is someone on the Fusion Hybrid forum who has added the navigation for around $500.00! More to it than just plug and play, but at least it appears it can be done. http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/topic/3777-navigation-added-to-my-system-today/
  9. I really doubt it. Doing a quick search on "Google" for "phone has bad gps reception" many suggestions come up, the most common being to check your phone settings. https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-improve-your-gps-signal-on-your-android Doing a search for "external gps antenna for smartphone" also brings up many different results. You will have to check them out to see if anything sounds like it would work for you. Many of them are Bluetooth GPS antennas from what I quickly saw.
  10. Have you actually done this? Having belonged to several Ford forums over the last 10 years or more, people have always asked if this could be done, but no one had ever done it. I believe there are other factors involved from reading those other forums, and it is NOT as simple as a plug and play like you describe. Great if it worked as easy as you say it does, but I really doubt it unless someone can say they did it. Can you also show some of the search results with a price of $200.00 or so for the screen, the APIM, and the navigation card? I think you will be more in the $500.00-$1000.00 range for those three items by the time you are done.
  11. At least that feature can be turned "ON" or "OFF" by the driver. Glad hers was ON during this incident.
  12. Those services for 5 years are from Sirius/XM and are what is called Travel Link I believe. Regardless if you have or keep an active subscription to Sirius/XM for the music channels, you will receive the Travel Link services from them for 5 years. The Ford Services are directly from Ford. Although many of the same type services are also available such as movies, sports, and other stuff, there are also a few additional features. You can call and talk to an operator who can find and send specific directions to you or an address for a business or residence you can not find using the in car navigation. I have used the operator assisted calls several times when trying to find a new address which isn't in the data base of my navigation. I got 20 free assisted calls per year with the Ford My Services. I was able to roll over any unused calls each year when I renewed the free services. When I traded in my 2013 Ford Edge and got the 2015 C-Max, the unused calls from the Edge transfered to the new account on the C-Max. Unfortunately, now it looks like I only have 1 year of free services on the C-Max instead of the 3 years the Edge came with. Not sure if I will pay for the option after the 1 year is over. It is a nice feature and MUCH cheaper than other programs such as the GM OnStar plan. However, between my or my wifes smart-phones we should be able to duplicate almost all of the services Ford offers on their plan.
  13. You can connect to "Services" in your car to get directions, find a business, get sport scores, weather, gas stations, etc. You need to set up your account and have a phone paired in the car in order to use the services. https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/myford-touch/sync-services/sync-services-overview.html
  14. 3 years, but each year you have to contact them to "renewal" the services. No charge, but you must contact them to continue the service. The fee once the 3 years was up was $60.00 on my 2013 Ford Edge, not sure what it is on my 2015 C-Max. Lincoln owner's had to pay even more for the services but still had the identical benefits from what they said. I guess premium costs for a premium vehicle?
